As in past conferences, the meeting will be preceded (Sunday, August 4) by one day of tutorials and a welcome reception. Sessions will take place (Monday-Wednesday, August 5-7) along with an industry tradeshow.
Conference Registration includes the following for Invited, Regular, Student, and Exhibit Attendees. One Day attendees will only be able to participate in the events taking place on the selected day. Note: Student registrants will be required to show a valid student ID.

We want to welcome University Professors and their students to ALD/ALE 2024 with a special University Professor Discount offer. As a Professor, if you bring 5 or more students to ALD/ALE 2024 we will provide a registration waiver for one designated student. This requires both the Professor and students are current AVS Members and are staying at a conference hotel (or live in a local postal code) to be eligible for the offer. Please contact ALD/ALE 2024 Registration Coordinator, Heather Korff, heather@avs.org, if you have any questions regarding this opportunity. NOTE: This may require early registration in order to coordinate hotel reservations.
- Prepayment Issues – If you have an issue with prepayment, please contact heather@avs.org for details on how you can still preregister and take advantage of the early registration discount. Onsite registration is not guaranteed.
- Cancellation: If for any reason you cannot attend the ALD/ALE 2024 conference you must contact AVS at 530-896-0477, heather@avs.org by July 12, 2024, to receive a refund, less a $100.00 processing fee. No refunds can be given for cancellations after July 12, 2024.
